How To Use Itchy Ear Drops

The Itchy Ear drops are very easy to use, simply:

1. Shake bottle well before use
2. Drop 3-6 drops into the ear canal (do not insert bottle dropper into the ear)
3. Prevent your dog from shaking their head whilst you very gently massage the ear for around 20-30 seconds
4. Gently wipe any excess debris that appears in the outer ear. Avoid putting anything inside the ear canal. (e.g. Cotton buds)

We recommend using the Itchy Ear drops once or twice a day for 7 days, then reduce application as necessary. The Itchy Ear Drops can be used in conjunction with the Ear Cleaner.

What are these drops recommended for?

These drops are recommended for dogs with itchy or dirty and irritated ears. If your dogs ears are simply dirty, and your dog is not showing any signs of irritation, we recommend trying our Petnat Ear Cleaner instead, which will clean and deodorise your dogs ears. As with all ear lotions, they are not suitable for any dog with a perforated ear drum.

What is in the Ear Drops?

The ear drops are steroid-free and contain carefully selected gentle herbal extracts in a colloidal silver base, with its natural antifungal and antibacterial properties. They are suitable for using frequently whenever your dog has ear problems, however they are also designed to help repair the skin in your dogs ears so that they become healthier long term.

How long do I need to use the drops for?

Initially use the drops every day for 7 days, then continue using the drops until your dog is no longer showing any signs of irritation. Do I need to warm the drops before use?

For the best results, we recommend the Petnat Ear Cleaner, however you can use any ear cleaner, as long as it is very gentle. The Petnat ear cleaner is 99% alcohol free and has been developed to be extra gentle so that it does not cause any irritation or exacerbate already irritated tissue and undo the work the Itchy Ear Drops are doing.
